Little Buddy and the Rest

In my experience, Gilligan's Island and childhood were just about synonymous. My brother and I watched it religiously, snacks in hand, right after school and if we were lucky on weekends too. Perhaps it's the innocence of the show, mixed in with the colourful, almost cartoon-like characters and the suspension of disbelief each episodic plot required that made it so memorable and welcoming to a child. A fantastical method of escape. Remember the theme song?

Remember this episode? They don't make shows like this anymore. Too bad.
